Go to the brush tool in Affinity Photo. In the tool settings click the “more” button. This will open the brush settings. Click the middle tab labeled “Dynamics”. Adjust the slider of the property you want to vary based on your pen pressure. Then in the drop down select “pressure”. Close the dialogue window and start painting.

Hi! Thanks for this! Is there also a parallel option for Affinity Designer? I explored and did find out that there is a similar “more” option for AD but didn’t see dynamics there. Thank you!

Thank you for these comment. These settings are not available for vector brushes. You can use them under the “pixel persona” these brushes will be raster based like the ones in Affanity Photo
